Peyton, Brynn, and Landon

I've taken way too long on these and Melissa has been so patient.
When she asked me to do pictures of her kids I was nervous because the only other kids I've really tried to take pictures of are my own and that's always a bust but these kids were sooo good.  They only had one problem- they would not crack a smile for anything!   Their dad was standing behind me doing all kinds of crazy stuff and this was as humored as they got!
I still think they turned out super cute and I love the outfits Melissa picked for the location.
I hope they're what you had in mind Melissa!

She wasn't about to give me full smile but I actually really like her slightly serious, slightly sassy itty bitty smile in this pic.

Can't believe how old he looks in these pics.   We've always joked that he and my Miss Jay should never be allowed to date but I don't know Melissa, all the girls are going to want to date him when they get to high school!

These are looking a little bright and slightly washed out here on the blog but don't worry Melissa, I tried a new edit on these but I have everything edited a little less bright as well.  You can pick which ones you like best!

Trey

I have another shoot to finish up before I get back to these but I had to play with just one tonight.
We weren't sure he was going to sleep at first but he ended sleeping almost the whole time.  I can't wait to play with the rest of his shoot.

One more...

I was just finishing these up for Kristen and had to throw this one on here.  See all five of those tiny little wisps of hair?  His momma brought his little baby brush and made sure each of those little hairs was in place the whole time we were taking his pictures.  It was so cute.  Also, I'd just get him all posed and she'd stand back and say, "I just want to kiss him!"  I'd laugh and remind her how long it had just taken to get those little peepers shut again!  She is completely, over the top, in love with this little guy!

Kristen brought this cute little hat and diaper cover that she ordered just for Rhett's pictures.  I'm even more in love with it after I've been working on these pics- thank you, thank you Kristen for donating it to my prop pile.  Could somebody please get working on another little boy to use it on!
I think Kristen has been one of the easiest people I've photographed.  Totally a natural at posing and a piece of cake to run through Photoshop.  If any of my friends actually saw me running their pics through Photoshop they'd probably be less than thrilled to see me zooming them in at 200-300% to check for any touch ups and never let me take their pic again but Kristen has the most amazing skin even way up close.   Besides a few wispy strands of hair, I bairly touched her face.   She totally would have won Miss Photogenic in the Miss USA pageant! (and given that blogger somehow messes with the clarity and color of pics posted this doesn't even do it justice)

Rhett

I had the funnest company this morning!
Kristen brought 2 week old Rhett over to see if we could get capture some of his adorableness.  I was a little worried about how cooperative he'd be since he was so old but he did pretty good.  He tried pretty hard to stay awake but he cooperated enough to let us get in some cute shots and he was super patient with us while we moved him around so many times.
His two big sisters are such adorable little girls which makes his complete boyness even that much cuter.  Seriously, he couldn't be confused as anything but a little boy with that little man look!

Thanks for bringing him over Kristen.  I have tons more to edit and after seeing these here on the blog, I'll be touching these up a little more too but I wanted to give you a little peek just incase you were still up tonight!

And seriously Kristen, could you be any more photogenic?

Just for fun...

A friend asked me to help her out with creating a copy cat version of the art work by Cultural Hall art for their next enrichment.

Danica and Jordan

I'm completely finished with all the queens and now I have these two back on top priority (well, besides keeping three kiddos dresssed, fed and the house in a reasonable state).  I took pictures at their wedding and reception the end of last month.  It was a long, busy, fun day and I've had fun going through tons of pics from the day!  I've played a little more than usual with my editing style for these so feel free to offer any opinions!  There will definitely be much, much more of these two coming up very soon!

Samantha

I've taken quite a bit of flack for this "beautiful" green chair- my husband thought it was the ugliest thing on earth when I drug it home!  I can't wait to use it with the fall colors but it was so fun getting to break it in with all these gorgeous girls (actually, it's broken in quite well- you sink about a half a foot when you sit in it- love it!)

We had to get a sister shot.  Samantha is running for Queen and Holly is running for Princess.
